ANNUAL REPORT SESSION – 2016-17

 

A very Good Evening to one and all present here. On the 46th Annual Day Celebration, of KV, Dhrangadhra, it is my proud privilege to welcome our honorable Chief Guest, Brig. S. S. Bakshi, S M Commander, 11 Arty Bde. Military Station, Dhrangdhra & Chairman VMC, KV Dhrangadhra on behalf of the entire vidyalaya family. He is the guiding light, whose unconditional support to all our endeavors for excellence has no bound. We welcome you sir.

 

I extend my hearty welcome to the guest of honour, the  first lady of Military Station, Dhrangadhra, Mrs. Mini Bakshi, Director, AWWA whose graceful presence, has indeed added value to this occasion.

 

I also welcome Col. Sanjay Sinha, CO 331, Med. Regt. & Chairman (Nominee) VMC, KV Dhrangadhra for his presence on this special day of the vidyalaya.

 

A warm welcome to all the Army Officers, dignitaries, the galaxy of academicians, educationists, honorable members of VMC, PTA, Principals of neighboring schools, representatives from press and media, invited guests, dear parents, learned teachers of my vidyalaya & my dear Students.

 

I have great pleasure in presenting a brief Annual Report of the session 2016-17.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhrangadhra is administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under Deptt. Of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

STUDENTS ENROLMENT-

The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII with 2 sections each.The total strength of the students as on date is around 815.

 ACADEMICS-

I would like to inform this august gathering that our board examination results of March 2016 for class X was 100 %.  We could get 86.5 % in XII Science & 100 % in XII Humanities.

Remedial classes, class tests, Cluster level monthly tests, regular Parent Teachers meeting, Coaching Classes during winter Break etc. steps are being taken for improvement in results.

Class – X meritorious students.

Kum. Nimra Latif & Mas. Sidharth Bhatt secured 10 out of 10 CGPA in class – X CBSE exam. They were awarded cash Prizes of Rs. 5000/- each from CBSE.

 PRIDE OF THE VIDYALAYA:

Our vidyalaya has received appreciation letter personally signed by Minister of HRD for producing outstanding performance in class – X Board exam.

TEACHERS’ ACHIEVEMENTS 

03teachers of our vidyalaya have been awarded outstanding grade during Annual Academic panel inspection. Their names are Mrs. Madhavi Dhanawade, TGT (English), Mrs. S. P. Bhatt, TGT (Maths) & Mrs. Bhavna Garg, PRT.

The subject teachers of class- X who have produced 100 % result  also received Appreciation letters personally signed  by Minister of HRD.

EXHIBTIONS-

Social Science Exhibition – 32 students participated at Cluster level exhibition in various activities. 03 girls & 03 boys represented this vidyalaya in National Children Science Congress. Their participation was appreciated by all.

 

OLYMPIADS –

32 students participated in Science Olympiad, 50 in Maths Olympiad, 40 in English Olympiad & 51 in Green Olympiad. Their achievements are laudable.

GAMES AND SPORTS:

Apart from excelling in inter house competitions many of our children have been selected for Cluster, Regional and National level competitions in games and sports.

SCOUTS AND GUIDES:

126 students of our Vidyalaya have enrolled themselves in this Scouts & Guides and Cubs & Bukbul.07 students have been selected in Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp & 04 students have qualified Rajya Puraskar.

NCC -

The setting up of NCC unit is in progress, shortly it will be made functional in our vidyalaya.

CO- CURRICULAR ACTIVITES

A.   Various co-curricular activities were conducted in the Vidyalaya throughout the year. More than 600 prizes were given away to the students during the year 2015-2016.

B.   The various days of importance have been celebrated with due ceremony & sincerity in this vidyalaya.

 

Adventure Activities-

19 students of this vidyalaya have taken part in 07 days Bharat Scout & Guide Adventure Camp organized at Panchmarhi (in MP) during Summer Vacation.

BASIC AMENITIES:

I took have taken up various Developmental projects to enhance the infrastructure and to provide quality learning ambience.

a)   sufficient Fire extinguishers installed in different wings of the school      building.

b)      The Library has been enriched with new books to develop and encourage reading     habits among children.

c)      100 % online fees collection through UBI.

d)      Beautification of Vidyalaya and gardening taken up.

e)       Setting up of a separate primary children park.

 

A WORD TO THE PARENTS –

With the tremendous growth in technology, the world has shrunk into a global village – the multitudes of gadgets (cell phones, iPad, tablets etc.), in the market has become a trap for children especially the adolescent and teens.

I urge the parents to spend more time with their children to keep a watch on children. Inculcate good values. We earnestly look forward to your constant support and cooperation.

ADVICE TO STUDENTS-

My advice to the students is to make the best use of time at hand. My dear children you are the architect of your own future. There are many distractions around you. Focus on your goal, cultivate good habits and values.

I am happy to mention that the Vidyalaya has shown rapid progress in all fields. We owe our deep sense of gratitude to our honorable chairman, Brig. S. S. Bakshi, S M Commander, 11 Arty Bde. Military Station, Dhrangdhra & Chairman VMC, KV Dhrangadhra and Smt. Mini Bakshi, Col. Sanjay Sinha, Col. GS, esteemed members of the VMC.

Our special thanks to distigushed Deputy Commissioner, KVS, Ahmedabad  Region Madam. Aruna Prem Bhalla ,for her valuable guidance and encouragement given to us from time to time . I would also like to thank Mr. R. N. Bhabhor Sir, Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Ahmedabad Region for his guidance &

Once again my sincere thanks and deep sense of appreciation are due to my dedicated and hard working staff and beloved children who have given their best in all the educational endeavours that we have undertaken. I look forward to the continued support of the community to attain the pinnacle of glory in the years to come.
