Annual Report: 2018-19

 

Honorable Chief Guest Brig. Rahul Ohri. S.M. Station Commander, 11 Arty Brigade, distinguished guests, parents, staff and my dear students.

Indeed it is my pleasure and privilege to accord a splendid welcome to one and all to this Annual Day Celebration of our Vidyalaya – 2018.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan through its admission policy hassle free transfer of students across the Vidyalaya of the Country. Common syllabus, starting pattern and other administrative dimension complies with all the constitutional obligations towards the citizens and also continue to be one of the best service providers of our nation.

 

The destiny of a nation is folded within its bussing youth as is flower within the close embrace of the petals. That is what our youth thinks today, the nation will think tomorrow.” Dr. Annue Besant.

 

Ladies and gentlemen and children with a sense of humility and pride let me present before you the report of the major activities of the Vidyalaya. I sincerely wish that this report be a critical analysis of the relevance of this institution in molding the children to be contributing citizens.

 

Academic Excellence:

The major yardstick to judge an educational institution is the academic excellence and other attainments of the Students.

In both the X and XII Board examinations the performance of the Vidyalaya was meritorious.

In class X the pass percentage was 97% and highest score was 90.20% obtained by Master. Devarsg J Pujara. In class XII Pass % was 96.97% with the remarkable high qualitative performance. Maintaining the tradition of excellence, we have school toppers.

Pratipal Singh – 84%    in Science Stream

Hurkat Megha – 90.4% in Arts Stream

It is a matter of Pride for all of us that most of the students passed out of class XII got admissions to professional courses in institute of repute.

The internal examination result was good. The overall pass percentage was 97%.

Participation is competitions hold outside the Vidyalaya :

Maximum numbers of students were encouraged and focused; care was given to participate in various competitions.

·        National Science Congress: The theme for this year was science technology and innovation for clean, green and healthy nation were presented by the Vidyalaya at the regional level held at K V No.1 Ahemedabad.

·        Jawahar Lal N ehru Science Exhibition will be organized in January 2019.

·        Students participated in National Science Olympiad and won various medals.

 

In Social Science:

Cluster Level Social Science exhibition 2018 held at KV AFS Bhuj. 58 students of our Vidyalaya participated in which 16 selected for Regional Level Competition for Hindi Debate. English Speech, Sanskrit Slok Path, Kavya Path, Drawing   & Patinting Quiz etc.

 

In Sports & Games:

……………..Students of our Vidyalaya participated in different games in KVS Cluster Level Sports in which…………….. Students selected and participated in KVS Regional Sports Meet held at various places like Yoga at Sec-30 Gandhinagar,  Taekawando at Jamnagar. Football at KV Mehsana. Table Tennis at KV EME Baroda. Miss Tanu Bhatt selected and participated at National Sport Meet held at KV ……………………….Region.

 

Regular Activities:

Along with the academics, a well-tailored format of co-curriculum sports and games activities was followed regularly to enhance the talents an build confidence among the students.

Various literacy and fine arts competitions were conducted regularly under CCA Programme provided a right forum for the students to bring out this talent skills. A large number of Students participated in Drawing and Painting competition on Swachhata Weeek.

·        Hindi Pakhwada and its various activities were organized in our Vidyalaya in which students and teachers participated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Some programmes were poem recitation, speech, debate, slogan writing etc.

·        Vigilance Awareness Week was celebrated organizing various competitions by the Vidyalaya and different organizations such as SBI, Indian Oil etc.

·        Vidyalaya Organized Various Sports and Games activities ensuring mass participation of the Students.

·          The scouts and Guides activities were conducted to imbibe the spirit of discipline and service among the students. Master. Prusthvi Gohel and Khushboo Chauhan participated in Rajya/Rashtrapati Purushkar Testing Camp 2018

·        All the National festival and all other important days were observed befitting to in calculate Nationall Pride and Patriotism among the Students.

·        Under NAEP special sessions were organized to deal with adolescent issues and problems in a healthy way.

·        Yoga was a regular feature of morning assembly.

·        Master Pranjal Gupta of class XI Science visited Jaiselmer Boarder. Under Seema darshan programme – A project which is stated by MHRD & Misnistry for KVs & NVS students to make them aware about how our solders and BSF jawans are protecting our country Boarder. Going near Indian Pakistan Boarder its an amazing experience felt by the Participating students.

·        I take this opportunity to express since gratitude to honorable ex-chairman Brig. B.Binuraj and Present Chairman Brig. Rahul Ohri for his magnanimous care and concern for the Vidyalaya activities and other project functionaries for their Guidance and affirmative actions which abundantly helped for the smooth functioning of this Vidyalaya. We received exemplary guidance and support from VMC, PTA and from the parents which all contributed for the benefit of our students.

 

Let me conclude this report with a determination, to dedicate ourselves to serve the dream and aspirations of our students. With all favour and respect, once again. I welcome the Chief Guest, other Dignitaries and distinguished guests, parents and one and all for this presence..
